Courses details for FAA Licence :

Main Course:
Part 141 VS Part 61

When considering flight school for your training it is important for you to know that not all flight schools are FAA approved under part 141. It is the school's choice to obtain this approval which requires a minimum of 80% pass rate on the first attempt for all the written and practical exams to maintain the 141 certification. Part 141 is more organized, since the training syllabus, aircraft, facilities and instructors must be certified by the FAA. The FAA lowers the overall training minimum requirements because of this.
